This was a perfect solution and has worked flawlessly for years. Unfortunately where the oil furnace thermostat is suppose to be mounted pellet stove would heat that side.
I have a pellet stove that heats the right side of my house. I am selling a used Totaline P474-2300rec receiver and P474-2300rf wireless thermostat. If you are looking at this then I assume know what it is and how works. The receiver has yellowed some from being exposed to sun.
This worked great for my single zone system in the winter. Good luck and happy buying. It works well but as you can see in the photos there is some discoloration.
Then you put the wireless thermostat in any room that want your heating cooling system to maintain temperature. This Totaline setup allowed me to put the wireless thermostat in bedroom and oil heat only came on when was cold.
Essentially you install the receiver to your heating system thermostat wires. So when the oil furnace would kick on heat from it only feed rooms that needed.
Therefore my bedrooms were freezing when the kitchen and living rooms warm from pellet stove. I had a forced hot air oil furnace that heated the left side. I shut the registers on side of house that is heated by pellet stove.
